Motherhood & Gender Equality

Happy Sunday funday and Mother's Day to those who celebrate! It can be a day of mixed emotion for many, so I hope you honor whatever it is you're feeling today and giving yourself the space to feel it all.

As I learn more about myself, my beliefs around what motherhood stands for and looks like continue to evolve. Gender equality has been a theme of my own personal development journey and a thread woven into all of my work over the years. So much "unlearning" societal norms, listening to my gut, speaking up when something doesn't feel right, but also remaining humble & compassionate in situations where I am wrong.

None of us are perfect, and we all have more to learn. It is HARD work, and by that I mean it is EMOTIONAL!!! Anger, tears, frustration, vulnerability, courage... Moments of, omg, I can't believe I didn't see that until now!? Ughhh! But it's worth it because it connects us on a deeper, more meaningful level at the end of the day, both with ourselves and each other. We end up feeling like we belong and are seen for who we truly are, not what society defines us as.

Wishing you lots of love + equality,
